Stick it

Here's where you'll find details and instructions for each of the product types

There are two distinctly different kinds of stickers we sell. One is a standard, self-adhesive sticker with peel-off backing paper. Here (and in most places) they’re called simply ‘stickers’.

And then there’s transfer stickers. These are also self adhesive, but they’re slightly trickier to install (especially if the transfer is large).

You’ll find more than you need to know about both kinds below, including the best way to care for and install each.

And there’s a range of posters as well. These are not self adhesive. Some details about all that are below.

Stickers

These are a standard self adhesive sticker. Just peel away the backing paper. It will stick to any clean, smooth, dry surface.

Our stickers (unless otherwise stated) use premium quality vinyl stock – highly durability – used for indoor and outdoor signage eg: billboards, trucks, cars and vans.

We use Eco solvent ink – Used for high resolution printing, indoor or outdoor signage – highly durable – environmentally friendly.

If you’re going to use the sticker on a car, truck, wall or any hard surface (particularly outside) then it’s a good idea to clean the surface first. For best results, wash the surface with a mild detergent solution. Then the surface should be rinsed and dried with a lint free cloth.

Car wax and polish residues must be completely removed.  Wipe with a solvent-saturated cloth, until all dirt and/or grease has been removed. The solvent should be sufficiently mild not to attack the substrates (e.g. methylated spirits).

Transfer stickers

Sometimes known as vinyl-cut stickers, or vinyl decals, transfer stickers make it easy to apply the most intricate designs to any clean, smooth surface. Available in white, black and a variety of other coloured vinyl, they’re highly durable and ideal for indoor or outdoor use.

They are simple to apply, but slightly trickier than the simple peel-off back sticker.

Once the surface is prepared, peel away the backing paper, put transfer in place, rub, then gently remove the transfer tape.

Posters

Unless otherwise stated, these are high quality digital photographic prints on 180gsm high quality photo paper. These are ready to mount or frame (or attach to something with sticky-tape or pins, or whatever you have at hand).
